Will March come in like a lion or a lamb? The forecast has been ominous, but the weather has been very nice so far…

Here’s to hoping that the lion left the chat entirely. Winter was short lived (non-existent, maybe?) and we’re full speed into course improvement projects and Spring weed management. Poa got a head start and hopefully an early fate. Every week it seems like a new “pretty flower” pops up and Matt’s not really a fan of flowers.

None of us are a big fan of shovels, either, but a pretty incredible crew showed up this weekend to start digging in on some tee box expansion projects. We can’t begin to express how grateful we are for our membership that is so devoted to this course and what it can be; whether it’s a wild idea, a constructive criticism, or cursing like a sailor when you uncover the layers of golf course plumbing past.

Park Hills Men’s Golf Association deserves a special thank you for their commitment of funds and especially time to get these things done. Park Hills ownership is also invested in this project, and we’re committed to delivering an even better golfing experience in 2026. We are incredibly grateful.
We’d be remiss not to mention the dedication of new trees on the course! We have the greatest members, past and present. Dedicating trees and telling stories is a pretty incredible time to reminisce about what being a member means, and how those members built our club to be something special. This year, we dedicated trees to Greg Fields and Dale Bolen. Pam Fields and Gayle Bolen were present to keep the stories PG rated. 😉

We added a London Planetree, a Linden Greenspire, and a Maple Sugar Fall Fiesta. It’s pretty exciting to see these beautiful trees add color and texture to the course year after year.
Normally, we tout the clubhouse kitchen first to tease the tastebuds. Tiffany is taking a backseat this month to all the other cool things happening at the club. There’s plenty of dining specials this month, and the calendar is below. There is no buffet in March, but mark your calendars for the Easter buffet.

Who’s up for Bingo?

Me, anyway. Mostly because Hallie says I have to help host. And we found a Bingo roller from the stone ages back in the corner of the store room. Everyone is a winner when meatloaf is on the menu. The first tournament of the year is Crazy Day Golf on the 28th.

*Crazy Day Golf rules subject to change. Maybe. Possibly. Probably not. It’s always a fun time. Don’t be a square.
A couple notes about golf firing up: the men’s scrambles start this Tuesday. TOMORROW, for most of you. Contact the clubhouse or a men’s league member for more info. Ladies Spring banquet is the 25th. Any interested gals, come see why they have the most fun.

FINALLY… there’s a small square in your app store with our name on it. Search up “Park Hills Country Club”. Download it and log in. We’ve been working on this for a long time, and it’s not perfect yet! Please let us know what you like or what isn’t working by responding to this email.

One of the coolest things about this app is a direct link to your account. The PHMGA and PHLGA links, dining menus, some other cool things yet to come are all at your fingertips. Feedback is appreciated!
