Greetings Park Hills! Your June newsletter has arrived.
Today, June 1st, kicks off our Junior Golf clinic. If our registrations are any indication, golf is alive and well in our community. There are a LOT of little linksters ready to improve their game and we’re excited about it too! This complimentary perk of golf membership is obviously a hit. If you’re interested in volunteering to help our youth learn the game, please let Hallie know!
TEE TIMES were put in place in May, for weekend play. Generally, this went well, and we’d like to thank membership for cooperating. We want your experience at Park Hills to be top notch, so please help us improve this system. It does require some self-policing if a marshal isn’t available. As with all experiences at Park Hills, we can’t improve something we don’t know about, so please communicate issues to us right away. If it’s slow or unruly play, large groups, or unregistered guests, please let us know with a call in to the clubhouse or Hallie.
Tee Time rules are still simple for June:
- Check in at the clubhouse for your tee time.
- Always start on number 1.
- If you don’t have a tee time, check in at the clubhouse. Do not jump into play.
Tournament season is upon us! There’s some great opportunities to compete this year. Sign up early so you don’t miss out!
The weather for the Pool Party didn’t cooperate again, for what seems to be the third year in a row. We have a new lineup of poolside appetizers that we’re excited about, and a brand new poolside gazebo! The gazebo is a going to be a nice space to eat lunch, escape from the heat, or just relax and read a book!
We do need your help as you enjoy your time at the pool. The Kansas wind has claimed more umbrellas than the rough around #2 has claimed golf balls (that might be a stretch, but you get the point!) Before leaving the pool, PLEASE put your umbrellas down so we don’t have to rename the pool deck the Mary Poppins Pavilion.
Also, there is no outside alcohol or food allowed at Park Hills. The clubhouse is open and we’d love your business! Make sure to check in before entering the pool, and report guests. Park Hills is an exclusive club, and we want to keep it that way!
Our June Social will be a doozy as our very own David returns FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY! It’s Doc Approved! Come out and dance!
Our new menu just dropped too! We are blessed by an incredible and supportive membership that has allowed us to keep a full and fresh menu while still offering unique specials. Thank you!
